Mission Statement

What is DR2028 all about?

The DR2028 Project is a movement for the future of the Dominican Republic. It is about creating a better, fairer, and stronger country where the people come first—always. We aim to build a transparent, accountable, and people-driven government that respects the land, protects the environment, and empowers every citizen to thrive.

Our Mission:

  1. Put People First:
DR2028 is about building a Dominican Republic where every voice matters, where the government listens, and where every citizen—no matter their background or wealth—has a fair shot at success.
  2. Protect the Land and Oceans:
We will safeguard our beaches, mountains, and natural treasures. No more unchecked construction or destruction of our coastline. The land belongs to the people—not just to big hotels and investors.
  3. Fight for Freedom and Justice:
We will defend freedom of speech, the press, and the right to protest. Journalists, activists, and everyday citizens must have the freedom to speak up without fear.
  4. Create Opportunity for All:
We will support jobs, education, and entrepreneurship—especially for young people, the Deaf community, and rural areas often left behind.
  5. Make Government Honest and Transparent:
We will end corruption, waste, and shady deals. Our budget, decisions, and progress will be open to the public—not hidden behind closed doors.
  6. Promote Sign Language and Inclusion:
We will ensure that Spanish Sign Language is taught and used everywhere—from schools to hospitals, from police stations to hotels. We believe in a country where no one is left out.
  7. Plan for the Future, Not Just Today:
We will build smart. We will think long-term. We will protect the Dominican Republic for future generations.
